Session guidance

  • A tracked event is upcoming this week. Plan around the scheduled release; current conditions are not a clearance to trade.
  • Prior-session range analysis is not connected yet.

At or above the 95th range percentile: stand aside AM; PM remains reduced risk, not an automatic clearance.

Rule notes / how to read this

The weekly export has partial coverage. It refreshes for the new trading week and is cached for twelve hours within the week; provider cooldowns still apply. Manual records are used if the provider is unavailable. Prior-session price history is not connected. Unknown means inputs cannot support an assessment; it does not mean conditions are clean.

NFP: Monday/Tuesday can be cleaner; Wednesday becomes more cautious; Thursday is reduced risk; Friday requires confirmed release completion before post-news assessment.

CPI/PPI release sessions require post-news clarity. FOMC: Tuesday PM is cautious; Wednesday before release is stand aside; Thursday/Friday require normalization. Holiday weeks become more cautious later in the week.

Fed Chair speaking can distort initial moves. Avoid forcing trades during the event window.

Range guide: 80th percentile = caution; 90th = reduced risk; 95th = stand aside AM / reduced risk PM. At or below the 20th percentile is labeled compressed, without automatically changing the condition.

Priority: Unknown for incomplete data; otherwise Stand aside → Reduced risk → Post-news only → Caution → Clean. All reasons remain visible. AM/PM uses noon in New York, including daylight saving time.

Clean execution environment describes this rule framework only. Session structure still matters; outcomes are not assured. Educational information only; not financial advice or a trade recommendation. This does not change the market headline or evidence score.
